XPC file format:

Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). Frequently, however, one file extension is used by different programs for different file formats, and one file format for different file extensions. Knowledge is power - this also applies when dealing with unknown or faulty files. In the following you will find our evaluation of the XPC files:

XPC is not a commonly used file extension and covers different formats for different programs. But the following two file formats are common:

• 50% of all XPC files start with the magic bytes A0 00 01 02, which are always the first bytes of this file format. They consist of illegible, cryptic characters. Most of these files are 380 KB to 35 MB in size. This file type was primarily in use more than 10 years ago. The following keywords are characteristic: gShared. A usual file name is HW_Cars.xpc or HW_music.xpc. These files are often associated with cars, music, award, items, kart, autosave and loading.
