What is a BAR file?

BAR files mostly belong to BlackBerry 10 by Blackberry. BAR files are used by applications running on the BREW Mobile Platform (MP) developed by Qualcomm.

Main Use: BAR is the acronym for BREW Application Resource files. BREW Mobile Platform provides an environment for developing applications on CDMA mobile phones. The Component Application Resource (CAR) file has specifications for resources such as image files that are used by an application.
