How to open BMD files

BMD file format:

Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. The first characters in a file identify the file format, for example, HTML files start with the bytes <html>. However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly. So you need a detailed analysis of a file to find out the format and the associated program. Below is our analysis of the BMD files:

BMD is a very common file type and includes different formats for the applicable programs. However, the following two file formats are common:

25% of all BMD files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "BM" at the beginning. They consist of unreadable binary data. The file size is in the range of 1 KB to 290 KB. This file type was primarily in use more than 10 years ago. Examples of file names are Player.bmd. These files are attributed to wing, armor, monster, male, sword, object, arrow, absolute and devil.
20% of all BMD files start with the bytes 01 00, which are crucial for this file format. These files contain neither text nor words, but only data. The files are on average 170 KB in size and range from 49 KB to 340 KB. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. blender_implicit, Head, RootBone and root. The file name idle.bmd or abomasnow.bmd is characteristic of these files. Files like these have the following tags: bulbasaur, pikachu, zygarde, abra, dragonite and complete.
