What is a CRD file?

CRD files mostly belong to ChordPro by ChordPro Developers. A CRD file contains a string instrument's song chords written in line with ChordPro specification. It contains directives (song title, key, composer etc.), song lyrics and chord names which can be converted to a more readable guitar, bass, mandolin, or ukulele music where each chord is placed above the word at which it is played. A CRD chord can be created or edited with a plain text editor. ChordPro software is used to generate song chords in PDF or CSV format. Another type of CRD file contains catchment runoff data for CARE-S sewage network rehabilitation software.

How do you open CRD files?

You need a suitable software like ChordPro to open a CRD file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your CRD file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a CRD file directly in the browser:.
