What is an RPF file?

RPF files mostly belong to Grand Theft Auto by Rockstar. RPF filename extension is associated with the Rich Pixel Format used to render frames of a 3D image or video created with 3DS Max animation software. This RPF format supports arbitrary channels (RGB, z-depth etc.) in an image file and it is mainly used to render animations during post-production video processing or when applying effects. How to open RPF files

Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
