What is a UND file?

UND files mostly belong to UnderMine. UND files are not a single standard file type; they have multiple uses.
When you come across an UND file, it may be one of the following:

Game Save: Often a JSON-formatted game save file used by titles like UnderMine or by systems from Corruption of Champions (listed as "She Will Punish Them save file"). These files store your game progress.

How to open UND files

UND file extension format:

Every file has a defined file format, i.e. how the data is arranged in the file. A file format is determined by the file extension and signature, so JPEG images have the extension .jpg and the first bytes in the file are ÿØÿ. Frequently, however, one file extension is used by different programs for different file formats, and one file format for different file extensions. Exact knowledge of the format is therefore important in order to solve problems occurring in files. In the following you will find our evaluation of the UND files:

UND is rarely used as a file extension and is used by a few programs, each with its own file format. The following file formats are most commonly found in UND files:

• 50% of all UND files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "DUPV" at the beginning. If you open these files in a text editor, you will see only illegible characters. The files are often between 600 KB and 27 MB in size. This file type is new and state-of-the-art. The keywords CRemoteDocument and DUPV are typical for these files.
• 15% of all UND files start with the magic bytes !DBCM, which are always the first bytes of this file format. These files are plain text, which means they can be viewed with any text editor such as Windows Editor, Nano for Linux, and TextEdit for macOS. UND files can be up to 700 bytes in size, but are often around 130 bytes - 490 bytes. The following keywords are characteristic: !DBCM, Recent, Zacks Rank, ! 192_Recent_EQ_1_AND_, Change and Current Price. These files are often associated with sector, zacks and rank.
