What is a VPD file?

VPD files mostly belong to MikuMikuDance by Yu Higuchi. The VPD file extension is mainly associated with 3D models' vocaloid pose data used by MikuMikuDance, a 3D dance simulation game for Windows computers. Such VPD files comprise a 3D character's bone positions which define the character's pose. A VMD dance animation file used by MikuMikuDance often uses multiple VPD poses. How to open a VPD file

You need a suitable software like MikuMikuDance to open a VPD file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
