BDB format details:
The file format determines how the data is stored in the file. Each file format has a unique extension and almost always a unique signature. For example, Microsoft Word documents have the extension .docx and the signature (usually the first 3 characters in this file) PK. However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly. If there are problems opening a file, you must first determine the file format used. Below is our analysis of the BDB files:
The BDB file type has no uniform or dominant file format. The following file formats are most commonly found in BDB files:
- 15% of all BDB files use the same file format, which have the signature 01 00 00 00. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. The files are often between 16 KB and 32 KB in size. It is a modern file type. A usual file name is Primary.bdb or Config.bdb.
- 9% of all BDB files start with the bytes 00 00 00 00, which are crucial for this file format. They consist of unreadable binary data. Most of these files are 190 KB to 9 MB in size. Examples of file names are ObjectRepository.bdb or mailbox.bdb. These files are attributed to repository and object.
The remaining 76% of all BDB files are different files with different signatures, the following 10 formats exist: JetDB, DOC, SQL, ZIP, CSiBridge, GBEN, TEXT and bdb. Sometimes used for lderringer, master, observations, database, catalog, gmduramaxl, bpstock, backup, ilpos, model or data. You can get all the details of your BDB file by dragging it onto this page or by clicking the button "Choose your .bdb file to analyze" above.

How to solve problems with BDB files
- Associate the BDB file extension with the correct application.
- Update your software that should actually open data backup files. Because only the current version supports the latest BDB file format. Search, therefore, e.g. on the Microsoft Corporation manufacturer website after an available Works update.
- To make sure that your BDB file is not corrupted or virus-infected, get the file again and scan it with Google's virustotal.com.
- Click here to open your .BDB file online - secure, fast, and no downloads needed.
