BLURB format details:
Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. The file format can be determined based on the file extension and the signature (the first few characters of a file). Frequently, however, one file extension is used by different programs for different file formats, and one file format for different file extensions. Knowledge is power - this also applies when dealing with unknown or faulty files. Below is our analysis of the BLURB files:
The BLURB file extension is not widely used. Such a file predominantly uses a uniform format. The following file formats are most commonly found in BLURB files:
- 95% of all BLURB files save the data in SQL file format. An SQL file contains a lightweight SQLite database, widely used in application development for storing application related data. The files are often between 450 KB and 530 MB in size. This file type is based on cutting-edge technology. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. SQLite format 3. Examples of file names are COOK.basic.blurb. Such files sometimes refer to book, standard, landscape, family, basic, portrait, travel and large.
All the rest of the BLURB files (5%) have different formats. Often described as portfolio, modern, magazine or vivid. If you want to find out what your BLURB file contains, drag and drop it onto this page.
