What is a CDX file?

CDX files mostly belong to CorelDRAW by Corel. CDX files usually contain compressed versions of CDR files containing vector graphics designs created with CorelDRAW graphics editor. CDX is also the filename extension of diagrams stored in ConceptDraw DIAGRAM's XML file format. Such CDX files contain text-based layouts, fill settings, paths/points and other properties that make up a diagram. MicroStation CAD software for creating 2D and 3D architectural/engineering designs, saves its cell library index in a CDX file that contains a list of all the CEL (binary cells) files. How to open CDX files

You need a suitable software like CorelDRAW to open a CDX file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
