What is a CVP file?

CVP files mostly belong to Penske Shocks WinDyn. If you inspect a CVP file closely, you will find that its nature depends on the application that created it.

Shock Absorber Data File: In many cases, these files use the Microsoft Compound format to store vehicle setup data. Most of these files are 94 KB to 890 KB in size. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. CVPF, IHDR, gAMA, pHYs, sRGB, IDATx^, Projekt, Neues and PrVi. Such CVP files store data about haus and grundriss, and frequently comprise personal data.

All other CVP files (60%) have no consistent format, the following 7 formats can be found: WinFax Cover Page, WinFax CoverPage image, ZIP and CurvePackage.
