What is a DLE file?

DLE files mostly belong to Autodesk 3ds Max. DLE files can serve different roles depending on their origin.

DLE files appear as data containers for Vietnamese construction cost projects. These files are designed as compressed ESRI data files to manage construction cost information.

How can I open a DLE file?

You need a suitable software like Autodesk 3ds Max to open a DLE file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your DLE file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a DLE file directly in the browser:. Why is it important to know the file format? This is the only way to find out which program to use to open the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly. So you need a detailed analysis of a file to find out the format and the associated program. Below you will find our evaluation of the DLE files:

The DLE file extension is not widely used. Such a file is used by a few programs, each with its own file format. The two most popular formats are as follows:

• 45% of all DLE files start with the bytes 5ùy¿²!, which are crucial for this file format. These files are binary files, so they do not contain text, but only cryptic characters. The files are on average 1 MB in size and range from 120 KB to 4 MB. The file type was developed only in the last few years. A usual file name is DM_2019_QD_10_XD.dle. Files like these are about vung, nguoi, dung and tnvl.
• 35% of all DLE files are using the well-known EXE file format to store the data. EXE is the abbreviation for executable and is the standard executable file format on Windows. The format can be identified by the letters "MZ" at the beginning. Executable files can also be used to distribute viruses and other types of malicious software (malware). They consist of unreadable binary data. The files are on average 400 KB in size and range from 77 KB to 990 KB. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. !This program cannot be run in DOS mode. GemExport64.dle or EclipseMtl64.dle is a typical file name. Files like these have the following tags: export, exporter, dexporter, eclipse and free.
