What is an EHI file?

EHI files mostly belong to HTTP Injector by Evozi. EHI is a file extension that is used by Evozi HTTP Injector for its Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) injector config file. HTTP Injector is an Android app that allows anonymous and secure web browsing via a Virtual Private Network (VPN). This is done using a Secure Shell (SSH) connection and proxy servers. The app works by establishing a connection with a URL that is allowed to access the internet for free. It then "injects" the webpage with a custom HTTP header to hijack the free network, thereby allowing the user to access websites that were not intended to be free via that connection. The EHI file format is used to store settings to configure HTTP Injector, including server login credentials and security/locking information. To import an EHI file in HTTP Injector, tap the file icon in the app's top-right corner. Select Import Config, and then browse your files to locate and select the EHI file.

How to open EHI files

You need a suitable software like HTTP Injector from Evozi to open an EHI file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your EHI file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a EHI file directly in the browser:. A file format defines how the data in the file is structured. The file format can be deduced from the file extension and the signature. If the file extension does not match the file format, double-clicking on the file will cause an error upon opening. When there is a problem with a file, the first step to solving it is to determine the file format. Our evaluation of the EHI files looks like this:

EHI is one of the most common file extensions and is primarily used by a single program. However, the following two file formats are common:

• 96% of all EHI files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "00 03 65 68 69 00 00 00 01" at the beginning. These files contain neither text nor words, but only data. The files are often between 1 KB and 4 KB in size. The file type is a fairly new file format. These files are often associated with mobi, sfile, axis, tsel, unlimited, mobitel, airtel and unli.
• 1% of all EHI files start with the magic bytes Xè5³=õê!C, which are always the first bytes of this file format. These are binary files, so they do not contain words or text. A typical file size is 2 KB. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. 6DeS. The following filename is common: MTN Ehi Config.ehi.
