What is an FC file?

FC files mostly belong to FlipaClip. FlipaClip animation project files make up some of FC files. These files typically use the ZIP archive format to hold project data such as frame sequences and timeline information.
Other FC files serve different roles:

A compressed cache file used by Flight Simulator.

How to open an FC file

You need a suitable software like FlipaClip to open an FC file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. FC file format:

A file format defines how the data in the file is structured. Each file format has a unique extension and almost always a unique signature. For example, Microsoft Word documents have the extension .docx and the signature (usually the first 3 characters in this file) PK. File extension, signature and file format must match; otherwise errors will occur when the file is opened. • 25% of all FC files use ZIP compression, so several files are compressed and saved in one FC file. Primarily 11 to 330 files are included.
