What is a T3D file?

T3D files mostly belong to Unreal Engine by Epic. The T3D file extension is typically used to store 3D objects created using Unreal Engine, a software development kit for creating first-person shooter games. The contents of a T3D file are textual data outlining Unreal map objects, physical properties of such objects and how they will be placed in an Unreal map. Swift 3D, a discontinued 3D design software used T3D files to store 3D documents containing data about camera perspectives, atmospheric elements, animation timelines, textures and other assets used by a 3D animation or model. How to open a T3D file

Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
