What is a CAS file?

CAS files mostly belong to AutoCAD by Autodesk. The CAS extension is primarily associated with 3D models used by games such as Total War, a Windows-based strategy game. Such CAS files comprise game objects, buildings, and texturing data for the models. The license files containing information for validating the copies of Autodesk software such as AutoCAD also have CAS file extension. These licenses are typically named CascadeInfo.cas and are located in the /ADLM/ or /Adlm/.config/ folder of the program's installation directory. Borland, an integrated development environment for Windows operating system stores source code for its C++ and Assembly programming languages in CAS files. How to open a CAS file
