What is a CSA file?

CSA files mostly belong to PNA Code by Keysight. CSA files are data files developed and saved using the Agilent PNA Code Software. The CSA file is called so because the Calset data is archived with the state.

How to open a CSA file

You need a suitable software like PNA Code to open a CSA file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. The file format, which is the arrangement and type of data in a file, determines which program can open the file. The file format can be deduced from the file extension and the signature. If the file extension or signature does not match the file format, errors will occur when opening or editing the file. CSA is one of the most common file extensions and includes different formats for different programs. But the following two file formats are common:

• 30% of all CSA files are based on the popular UTF-16 (LE) file format. UTF-16 (LE) is an character encoding system for Unicode. UTF-16 files can be viewed in any modern text editor. These files start with the two bytes FF FE, the so called byte order mark (BOM). The content consists of illegible binary data, which can only be read and interpreted by the associated programs. The files are often between 26 KB and 720 KB in size. This file type is based on cutting-edge technology. The files are on average 2 KB in size and range from 110 bytes to 22 KB. Such files are related to gtasa, carboost, regen, gtavc, gasoline and light.
