What is an FPR file

FPR files mostly belong to Fortify Static Code Analyzer. The FPR file is used in different ways, with most files storing Fortify scan results. How to open FPR files

You need a suitable software like Fortify Static Code Analyzer to open an FPR file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. The Compound Document format is always starting with the bytes D0 CF 11 E0 A1 B1 1A E1. There is also a CLSID, a globally-unique identifier of a COM (Component Object Model) object: 6a56ef90-2d20-11d5-ae96-0050fc0dbdbd. These are binary files, so they do not contain words or text. The files are 20 KB to 20 KB in size, with a median of 20 KB. Examples of file names are ScanProject.fpr. Such FPR files store data about project.
