Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. The file name latest.grid or IDCKZDDAT0.solar.daily.grid is characteristic of these files. Files like these have the following tags: daily, solar, idckzrda and rainfall.
All other GRID files (60%) have different formats, the following 6 formats can be found: GridMove grid template and XML. These files sometimes refer to cartesian, network, summary, taquin or topo.
