What is an IM0 file

IM0 files mostly belong to DICOM by NEMA. IM0 is a medical image in DICOM format. DICOM is the abbreviation for "Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine" and is an international standard for storing, processing, printing, displaying, and transmitting medical images such as MRI and CT scans. It was first developed by the joint efforts of the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). The current version was developed by the DICOM Standards Committee (www.dicomstandard.org).

How to open an IM0 file

Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
