What is an RBN file?

RBN files mostly belong to ResumeMaker. RBN files serve different roles depending on their source.

How to open RBN files

Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). Frequently, however, one file extension is used by different programs for different file formats, and one file format for different file extensions. Knowledge is power - this also applies when dealing with unknown or faulty files. Below is our analysis of the RBN files:

RBN is not a common file extension and includes various formats for various programs. But the following two file formats are common:

• 35% of all RBN files are based on the popular plist file format. A property list file is a structured text file that contains user's settings or macOS apps configuration. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. Most of these files are 4 KB to 33 KB in size. The file type was created recently. It is possible to divide the data into several streams, and to store these streams in different places in the file. In this way compound document files support a complete file system inside the file, the streams are like files in a real file system, and the sections are like subdirectories. Header signature for the CFB format with 8-byte Hex value D0CF11E0A1B11AE1 (which looks like "DOCFILE"). The file contains sections BusinessRouter. A typical file size is 230 KB. Such files sometimes refer to routing, target, inbound, comp and flex.
