How to open an RSF file
You need a suitable software like EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard to open an RSF file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your RSF file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a RSF file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

RSF file format:
Every file has a defined file format, i.e. how the data is arranged in the file. The initial characters of a file are called signature, sometimes also referred to as "magic bytes". The signature can be used to infer the file format. However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly. If there are problems opening a file, you must first determine the file format used. Below is our analysis of the RSF files:
You will often come across the RSF file type. This predominantly uses a uniform format. The two most popular formats are as follows:
- 70% of all RSF files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "êô³" at the beginning. These files contain neither text nor words, but only data. The average file size is 4 MB with most files being between 64 KB and 51 MB in size. The file type was developed only in the last few years. These files are often associated with drive, partition, lost, lostpartitionfiles, drived, media, desktop and recycle.
- 7% of all RSF files start with the bytes CMBK, which are crucial for this file format. These are binary files, so they do not contain words or text. The average file size is 2 MB with most files being between 16 KB and 43 MB in size. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as CMBK and cstemp.rdf. A usual file name is 2020-06-01 10_30_DRW_CR.rsf or 2020-06-01 10_30_DRW_PR.rsf.
All other RSF files (23%) have no uniform format, often e.g. ZIP and RSF. Sometimes used for result, macintoshhd, drivef, last, macintosh, unknown, drivee, driveh, drivei, disco, data or disk. If you want to find out what your RSF file contains, drag and drop it onto this page.
Technical Data for RSF File Extension
The following listing is compiled from the database produced by the 'Associate This!' program, selected data from the main FILExt database and file extension information submitted by users.
EXEFile: %ProgramFiles%\OMEGAR~1\Program\ORRadar.exe %1
EXEFile: %ProgramFiles%\Reflection\R8win.exe
an rsf data file is a special file format and should only be edited and saved with the appropriate software.
How to solve problems with RSF files
- Associate the RSF file extension with the correct application.
- Update your software that should actually open data files. Because only the current version supports the latest RSF file format. Search, therefore, e.g. on the manufacturer website after an available EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard update.
- To make sure that your RSF file is not corrupted or virus-infected, get the file again and scan it with Google's virustotal.com.
- Click here to open your .RSF file online - secure, fast, and no downloads needed.
