If you cannot open your EXT file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a EXT file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

EXT file format:
If you can determine the file format, the associated program can also be determined. The file format can be determined based on the file extension and the signature (the first few characters of a file). However, different programs can use the same file extension. Furthermore, a file extension can be renamed incorrectly and double-clicking on it will then display an error when it is opened. So you need a detailed analysis of a file to find out the format and the associated program. Our examination of the EXT files comes to the following conclusion:
The EXT extension is very commonly found and includes various formats for various programs. However, the following two file formats are common:
- 20% of all EXT files are based on the zip format, the EXT file contains a number of compressed files. The number of files included is on average 1 and ranges from 1 to 19. File names inside are ds.dat. If you'd like to see the images and files included, just rename the file extension to .zip and double-click. Most of these files are 18 KB to 16 MB in size. The files contain the following words: ds.dat. An example of a file name is DATA_BKD_30_JAN_20.ext or DATA_BKD_26_FEB_20.ext. Files like these are about data, theme, agust, decal, agustus, critical, improved, genap, dark and egtw.
- 10% of all EXT files are based on the well-known PDF file format. PDF is short for Portable Document Format, is a file format to present documents, including text formatting and images, in a manner independent of application software, hardware, and operating systems. If you open these files in a text editor, you will see only illegible characters. EXT files are between 24 KB and 670 KB in size. Some examples of file names are file.ext or name-of-the-file.ext. Files like these are sometimes connected to name, hpscan, address, invoice and flow.
The remaining 70% of all EXT files are files with no common format, the following 18 formats can be found: JPG, EXE, MP3, PNG, XML, DOC, HTML, Header, BEGIN, class, AMR, vessel, PMAI, RRFBP and respawn. These files are often connected to firms, firm, master, sample, filename, photo or list. If you want to find out which format your EXT file belongs to, just click on the button "Choose your .ext file to view".
