What is a TRF file?

TRF files mostly belong to TomTom MyDrive Connect. TRF files are files that store specialized data and can be used by several different applications. In one common case, a TRF file is a TomTom route file that holds GPS navigation data compressed in a ZIP format. This file is used by TomTom MyDrive Connect (TomTom) to plan and share routes.

Navigation: The file records route information for GPS devices.

How to open a TRF file

You need a suitable software like TomTom MyDrive Connect to open a TRF file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
