What is an FXM file?

FXM files mostly belong to Messiah by pmG. FXM is a filename extension for 3D motion files created using Messiah, a 3D animation modeler and renderer for Windows computers. The FXM file contains data pertaining to the movement of 3D models in an animation. This data may consist of reusable scales, constructed paths, and rotations that are applicable to different sections of a 3D animation. Another popular use of the FXM filename extension is with BigFix, a platform for securely managing networked Windows devices across servers, desktops, and mobile devices. BigFix saves fixlet pool data in FXM files.

How to open FXM files

You need a suitable software like Messiah to open an FXM file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your FXM file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a FXM file directly in the browser:. How to convert FXM files to OBJ, STL, PLY, 3DS, FBX, STP, ...

These files are text files and can therefore be read using a text editor. The average file size is 4 KB with most files being between 4 KB and 60 KB in size. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as @JSXBIN@ES@2.0@MyBbyBn0AJJAnASzLjQjBjDjLifjPjCjKjFjDjUByBEjzGiPj, JBnABXzIjTjFjUjUjJjOjHjTDfVBfyBEjCfntnfJCnABXzJjTjUjSjVjDjUjVjSj and fJDnABXzLjUjFjYjUifjQjSjFjTjFjUFfVBfy. A common filename is FxMonster Premium Pack.fxm or Fire Pack.fxm. Such files are related to pack, liquid, titles, fxmonster, elements, premium and shapes.

All other FXM files (20%) have different formats, the following 6 formats exist: Fuxoft AY Language module, XML and MANAGER. These files are often connected to cartoon, flash, fire, backgrounds, transitions, dynamic, master or east.
