What is an L file?

L files mostly belong to Dropbox. Your L file can have several distinct uses. It is not a single standard type and its content depends on the application that created it.

How to open an L file

• 15% of all L files use the same file format, which have the signature 25 7B. If you open these files in a text editor, you can view and read the content yourself. The files are 200 bytes to 1 KB in size, with a median of 480 bytes. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. #include<stdio.h>, yytext, return, printf and char. The file name calc.l is typical for these files. Such files are related to program, gowri, assignment, lexical and count.
