- Unity (game resource file) by UnityLEVEL1 files are assets for the second scene for games created using Unity 3D. Unity 3D is a game engine and game development tool. These files may contain meshes, textures, 3D models, shaders, audio, or even game databases. The files are stored in the Assets folder in the Unity game directory. ASSETS files are used when building a Unity project into an executable game or when modding an existing game. This file format is classified as Game.
LEVEL1 file format:
The file format determines how the data is stored in the file. A file format is determined by the file extension and signature, so JPEG images have the extension .jpg and the first bytes in the file are ÿØÿ. File extension, signature and file format must match; otherwise errors will occur when the file is opened. If there are problems opening a file, you must first determine the file format used. Our examination of the LEVEL1 files comes to the following conclusion:
The LEVEL1 extension is quite commonly used. The file itself includes very many different file formats. But the following two file formats are common:
- 7% of all LEVEL1 files start with the bytes 00 01 crucial for this file format. The content consists of illegible binary data, which can only be read and interpreted by the associated programs. A typical file size is 860 KB. Some examples of file names are level0..
- 4% of all LEVEL1 files start with the magic bytes 00 02, which are always the first bytes of this file format. These files contain neither text nor words, but only data. The files are on average 1 MB in size and range from 820 KB to 2 MB. The file name level0. is typical for these files.
The remaining 89% of all LEVEL1 files are different files with different signatures. If you want to find out which format your LEVEL1 file belongs to, just click on the button "Choose your .level1 file to analyze".
