What is an LTD file?

LTD files mostly belong to LogTag Analyzer. LTD files are used by several companies for different purposes. Their function depends on the origin and the software that produced them.

Data Logger Files: These files record sensor or time-based data. For example, LogTag systems generate LTD files to store measurements. Use LogTag Analyzer (LogTag Recorders) to view these logs.

How to open LTD files

Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). Frequently, however, one file extension is used by different programs for different file formats, and one file format for different file extensions. You will often come across the LTD file type. This includes various formats for various programs. But the following two file formats are common:

• 50% of all LTD files belong to LogTag Data. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. Most of these files are 1 KB to 34 KB in size. LTD files can be up to 20 MB in size, but are often around 84 KB - 1 MB. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as SCSI, Ultrium and Series. These files are attributed to hplto, hpmsl, ultrium, scsi, abef and drive.
