What is an LDT file?

LDT files mostly belong to DIALux by DIAL. An LDT file is an indoor/outdoor light fixture design saved in EULUMDAT format. The file is created with DIALux lighting design/analysis software. It contains photometric data of a light fixture (luminaire). Another type of LDT file contains output data or a script used by FNDLOAD program which transfers data from a database to a text file. FNDLOAD is a component of the E-Business Suite developed by Oracle. Its LDT file usually contains a lookup script, concurrent program, profile etc. The same type of LDT file may be used to store data retrieved from a database.

How can I open an LDT file?

You need a suitable software like DIALux to open an LDT file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your LDT file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a LDT file directly in the browser:.
