What is an MVL file?

MVL files mostly belong to GE ViewPoint. MVL files are mostly used to store ultrasound imaging data. They often use a Microsoft Compound File structure to pack video streams and diagnostic metadata together.

How to open an MVL file

You need a suitable software like GE ViewPoint to open an MVL file. MVL file extension format:

Why is it important to know the file format? This is the only way to find out which program to use to open the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). If the file extension or signature does not match the file format, errors will occur when opening or editing the file. If there are problems opening a file, you must first determine the file format used. Our evaluation of the MVL files is as follows:

MVL is a very commonly used file extension and is used by a few programs, each with its own file format. However, the following two file formats are common:

• 50% of all MVL files internally use the Microsoft Compound File format, also known as Composite Document File format or OLE2 compound document format. This is a complex container format used by earlier versions of Microsoft Office and other Windows programs. The file signature of compound files is defined as D0 CF 11 E0 A1 B1 1A E1, so the first character of a file looks like "DOCFILE". Sections and streams in the file have names like MV2CineViewMode, MV2ViewMode, NoOfVolumeTextures, NoOfVolumes, SelectedRS, Version, VolumeTextureList, DataInfo, NoOfRS, Blob, MVFixedOnOff, Cine and NoOfVOCAL. The files are 7 MB to 130 MB in size, with a median of 21 MB. It is a modern file type. Such files sometimes refer to baby, beba, scan, hendsalah, screening, morfo, weeks, baba and trim, and often consist of personal data.
• 20% of all MVL files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "04 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 10" at the beginning. These files contain neither text nor words, but only data. The file size is in the range of 1 MB to 7 MB. These files can be linked to dand, setiawati and arum, and often consist of personal data.
