What is a RESULT file

How to open RESULT files

The RESULT file type includes very many different file formats. However, the following two file formats are common:

• 15% of all RESULT files are based on the well-known JSON file format. JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a lightweight data−interchange format. It is easy for humans to read and write. It is easy for machines to parse and generate. If you open these files in a text editor, you can view the contents and find segments of text. Most of these files are 960 bytes to 1 KB in size. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. ","certStatus":" and {"resultText":".
• 7% of all RESULT files are based on the popular Java file format. This format is used to save Java objects to a file (ex. save game state as file) via object serialization. Such a Java object may contain functions and data like settings, images or videos. The content also consists of readable text fragments, which can be viewed with the help of a text editor. RESULT files can be up to 12 KB in size, but are often around 300 bytes - 10 KB. The files contain the following words: result, DESKTOP, TESTS, Users, java, lang and exam. Files like these are about hprof and exam.
