Opening VRX Files
The VRX file type is primarily associated with ViroReact.
What is a VRX file?
The VRX file extension is used in several ways:
- 3D Model Files: These files use zlib compression to store 3D models. They are used in applications like ViroReact and VRoid Studio to display and manipulate 3D graphics.
- Virtual Report eXtended Files: Some VRX files serve as report containers. Software from Ponto Secullum and VRX Replicator uses them to manage report data, such as payroll information.
- XML-Based Vehicle Reports: Other files follow an XML structure. These are used by ActiveReports to generate vehicle reports (for example, the Daimler Vehicle Report by Daimler FINAS). More details are available on this page.

How can I open a VRX file?
You need a suitable software like ViroReact to open a VRX file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your VRX file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a VRX file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

- Visual ReportX (Report Data File) by Vagner PagottiVisual ReportX is an ActiveX component that helps the Visual Basic developer in the task of designing, viewing and printing reports from their applications. A free viewer is available. Related links: Visual ReportX Viewer
VRX file format:
The file format, which is the arrangement and type of data in a file, determines which program can open the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). Frequently, however, one file extension is used by different programs for different file formats, and one file format for different file extensions. Knowledge is power - this also applies when dealing with unknown or faulty files. Our evaluation of the VRX files looks like this:
The VRX file extension includes different formats for the applicable programs. But the following two file formats are common:
- 45% of all VRX files start with the magic bytes VRX00, which are always the first bytes of this file format. They consist of illegible, cryptic characters. A typical file size is 76 KB. The file type was created recently. The following keywords are characteristic: Roman;Arial;Courier New;, VRX001, Times and VRX002. CART-O PONTO.vrx is a typical file name. Such files sometimes refer to ponto, cart, cartoponto, abril, estoque, cartao and maio, and contain personal data.
- 40% of all VRX files are based on the popular zlib file format. Zlib is a compressed archive file format that supports several different data compression algorithms. zlib is also a crucial component of many software platforms, including Linux, macOS, and iOS. If you open these files in a text editor, you will see only illegible characters. The average file size is 120 KB with most files being between 2 KB and 2 MB in size. emoji_smile.vrx is a typical file name. Such VRX files store data about emoji, smile, object, anim, heart, coffee, soccer, ball and lamp.
All other VRX files (15%) have different formats, often, for example, XML. Drag & drop your file here to see the file format and a preview of your VRX file!
Technical Data for VRX File Extension
a vrx container is a special file format and should only be edited and saved with the appropriate software.
How to solve problems with VRX files
- Associate the VRX file extension with the correct application.
- Update your software that should actually open containers. Because only the current version supports the latest VRX file format. Search, therefore, e.g. on the manufacturer website after an available ViroReact update.
- To make sure that your VRX file is not corrupted or virus-infected, get the file again and scan it with Google's virustotal.com.
- Click here to open your .VRX file online - secure, fast, and no downloads needed.
