What is a YSM file?

YSM files mostly belong to Yakuza Studio Motion. YSM files are specialized 3D model files that store animation data and model details.
Most of these files are in the Yiffalicious Studio Model format, used for 3D animation projects. They hold information such as mesh geometry, textures, and animation sequences.
Some variants are produced by VRoid Studio and are encoded in UTF-8. These are used to create 3D avatars for applications like VSeeFace.

Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. A file format is determined by the file extension and signature, so JPEG images have the extension .jpg and the first bytes in the file are ÿØÿ. Frequently, however, one file extension is used by different programs for different file formats, and one file format for different file extensions. The average file size is 190 KB with most files being between 70 KB and 500 KB in size. The keywords YSGP and YXJtLmFuaW1hdGlvbi5qc29u are typical for these files. Files like these have the following tags: furina, girl, hutao, creeper, toki, tiamat and agir.
