What is an ABT file?

ABT files mostly belong to Baby Connect, FORScan. Overview:
ABT files serve two distinct purposes. One type is used by the Baby Connect Android app to hold a Stylina baby data archive. These files are internally stored as a ZIP archive. The other type is used by FORScan to store Ford vehicle configuration data, often referred to as an as-built file.

How to open an ABT file

You need a suitable software like Baby Connect, FORScan to open an ABT file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. The first characters in a file identify the file format, for example, HTML files start with the bytes <html>. However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly.
