What is a TSC file?

TSC files mostly belong to TINA by DesignSoft. A TSC file is an electronic circuit schematic created with TINA electronics design/simulation software. The file contains circuit description, layout information, analysis parameters, component symbols etc. TSC extension was introduced in TINA version 6.0 as a replacement for SCH. This was done to avoid naming conflicts with other applications that used SCH filename extension. Another type of TSC file contains data used by Windows Help application. TSC is also the filename extension of a text-encoded tolerance script used by OpticStudio optical lens design software. A script used by Cave Story video game is also saved in a TSC file.

How to open TSC files

You need a suitable software like TINA to open a TSC file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
