File type:  header

What is an INC file?

INC files mostly belong to Sublime by Sublime. INC is the filename extension of an "include" file containing reusable declarations for variables, classes, interfaces, and functions written in programming languages such as Assembly, Pascal, C, C++, and PHP. Integrated development environments such as Visual Studio and code editors such as Sublime can create and edit INC header files. SPICE and PSpice integrated circuit simulation programs also use an INC file to store headers for scripts used for integrated circuit modeling and simulation. JAWS screen reader uses an INC file to store text. The Backup and Restore component on Windows operating system saves incremental backups in INC files.

How to open INC files

You need a suitable software like Sublime to open an INC file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your INC file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a INC file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

INC file format:

The file format, which is the arrangement and type of data in a file, determines which program can open the file. Each file format has a unique extension and almost always a unique signature. For example, Microsoft Word documents have the extension .docx and the signature (usually the first 3 characters in this file) PK. However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly. Knowledge is power - this also applies when dealing with unknown or faulty files. Our evaluation of the INC files is as follows:

Files with the INC extension are quite widely used. This file type uses a uniform format that many programs support. The two most common formats are as follows:

All other INC files (75%) have no uniform format, the following 7 formats can be found: iTunes, Begin and LuaP. The category is common, apple, music, format, vpus, guidelines, variables, adcjavas, egauthor, settings, adovbs, player, vision, style, body, buku or core. If you want to find out what your INC file contains, drag and drop it onto this page.

an inc header is a special file format by Sublime and should only be edited and saved with the appropriate software.

How to solve problems with INC files

  • Associate the INC file extension with the correct application.
  • Update your software that should actually open headers. Because only the current version supports the latest INC file format. Search, therefore, e.g. on the Sublime manufacturer website after an available Sublime update.
  • To make sure that your INC file is not corrupted or virus-infected, get the file again and scan it with Google's virustotal.com.
  • Click here to open your .INC file online - secure, fast, and no downloads needed.
