All about RHP Files
The RHP file type is primarily associated with Rhinoceros 3D.
What is an RHP file?
How to open an RHP file
You need a suitable software like Rhinoceros 3D to open an RHP file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your RHP file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a RHP file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

RHP file extension format:
To find out what program is needed to open RHP files, you need to determine the file format. The file format can be determined based on the file extension and the signature (the first few characters of a file). However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly. Knowledge is power - this also applies when dealing with unknown or faulty files. Our evaluation of the RHP files is as follows:
As a file extension, RHP isn't very common and is primarily used by a single program. But the following two file formats are common:
- 85% of all RHP files are based on the well-known EXE file format. EXE is the abbreviation for executable and is the standard executable file format on Windows. The format can be identified by the letters "MZ" at the beginning. Executable files can also be used to distribute viruses and other types of malicious software (malware). They consist of unreadable binary data. The file size is in the range of 18 KB to 5 MB. The file type was developed 10 years ago and is still in use today. The files contain the following words: !This program cannot be run in DOS mode. Such RHP files store data about rhino, gold, export, tools, belsupportresin, rhinocam, weight, plugin, block and orang.
- 3% of all RHP files start with the bytes MEUH crucial for this file format. If you open these files in a text editor, you will see only illegible characters. The files are on average 510 KB in size and range from 340 KB to 740 KB. The files contain the following words: SPOK, MEUH and STAT. Such files are related to croisement.
All other RHP files (12%) have no uniform format. Often described as settings, system, dump, edit, orca, grasshopper, exporter or render. You can get all the details of your RHP file by dragging it onto this page or by clicking the button "Choose your .rhp file to analyze" above.

an rhp Executable is a special file format and should only be edited and saved with the appropriate software.
How to solve problems with RHP files
- Associate the RHP file extension with the correct application.
- Update your software that should actually open executables. Because only the current version supports the latest RHP file format. Search, therefore, e.g. on the manufacturer website after an available Rhinoceros 3D update.
- To make sure that your RHP file is not corrupted or virus-infected, get the file again and scan it with Google's virustotal.com.
- Click here to open your .RHP file online - secure, fast, and no downloads needed.
