A file format defines how the data in the file is structured. Each file format has a unique extension and almost always a unique signature. For example, Microsoft Word documents have the extension .docx and the signature (usually the first 3 characters in this file) PK. File extension, signature and file format must match; otherwise errors will occur when the file is opened. • 15% of all TMI files internally utilize the SQL file format. An SQL file contains a lightweight SQLite database, widely used in application development for storing application related data. They consist of unreadable binary data. The average file size is 4 MB with most files being between 110 KB and 38 MB in size. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. SQLite format 3 and TMLI. Files like these are sometimes connected to grandiflora, abelia, concrete, linnaea, glossy, tree and wall.
