How to open a DLF file

You need a suitable software like Adobe LiveCycle Designer to open a DLF file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. DLF file format:

The DLF file type is a very commonly used file extension and covers different formats for different programs. But the following two file formats are common:

• 25% of all DLF files use the ZIP algorithm, the DLF file contains a number of compressed files. DLF files contain from 35 to 140 compressed files. File names inside are \DLF\, \DLF\C\InterviewData.bin, \DLF\C\Manifest.xml, \DLF\C\T\, \DLF\C\T\1\C.bin, \DLF\C\T\1\D\, \DLF\C\T\1\D\1\, \DLF\C\T\1\D\1\P\, \DLF\C\T\1\V.bin and \docProps\. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. DLF/O/29/1.bin. Such files sometimes refer to letter, document, servlet, page, property, eligibility, denial, report and elig, and often consist of personal data.
• 5% of all DLF files start with the bytes 00 00 00 00, which are crucial for this file format. They consist of illegible, cryptic characters. The file size is in the range of 32 KB to 6 MB. The following filename is common: config.dlf or WLR-6100v1001-firmware-v211.dlf. These files can be linked to firmware and apps.

All the rest of the DLF files (70%) have different formats, often e.g. JetDB, XML, DivE, GLOR, qfcL, BRMd and Confidential. These files are often connected to site, smartfren, drive, zjkt, zbdg, zbgr or zmks.
