What is an FZ file?

FZ files mostly belong to Fritzing. A FZ file is a technical, compressed archive that stores project data for specialized electronics and, in some cases, scientific applications.

How to open an FZ file

• 4% of all FZ files belong to Flexible Image Transport System bitmap. The content consists of illegible binary data, which can only be read and interpreted by the associated programs. FZ files can be up to 300 MB in size, but are often around 620 KB - 100 MB.
