What is an SMS file

SMS files mostly belong to System Center by Microsoft. An SMS file contains a package definition used by some versions of System Center (previously Systems Management Server) software. SMS is also the filename extension of a ROM disk image cloned from the game cartridge of a Sega Master System game console.
