What is a TLOG file?

TLOG files mostly belong to Visual Studio.

• 25% of all TLOG files have the same signature 00 05. The content consists of illegible binary data, which can only be read and interpreted by the associated programs. The files are on average 3 MB in size and range from 320 KB to 29 MB. The file type was created recently. A common filename is 2020-06-01 10-30.tlog or mav.tlog. These files are often associated with flight.
• 20% of all TLOG files start with the bytes 00 05, which are crucial for this file format. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. TLOG files can be up to 56 MB in size, but are often around 71 KB - 13 MB. 2020-06-01 10-30.tlog is a typical file name.

The remaining 55% of all TLOG files are files with no common format, frequently e.g. UTF-16 (LE), UTF-8, TUMO, Btnx and translog.
